Our client seeks a process engineer to develop, maintain and improve manufacturing processes and documentation. In addition, you will also work cross-functionally with manufacturing engineering to launch new product designs.

Position Overview

• “Own” the manufacturing process and work with corporate engineering on manufacturing pilots and trials to support new product launches or new process designs
• Work with manufacturing to troubleshoot and solve production problems
• Assist manufacturing engineering with projects as required
• Write and maintain production work instructions
• Maintain PFMEAs and assist quality in maintenance of control plans
• Assist in manufacturability studies with corporate engineering and production engineering teams

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Ability to read 2D blueprints and 3D models
• Experience with 2D drafting and 3D modeling
• Familiarity with line balancing, work measurement and cost justification techniques
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
