DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø  Develop, manage, and participate in programs, methods, systems, and practices for maintaining a safe work

Ø  Monitor equipment performance and make recommendations to improve reliability and reduce cost

Ø  Provide cost estimating and engineering proposals on routine replacement of equipment to correct maintenance problems or for the improvement of processing equipment

Ø  Provide technical support to production and maintenance organizations throughout the plant to evaluate and resolve maintenance problems

Ø  Provide training to production, maintenance, and other departments in the proper operation, troubleshooting, repair techniques, controls, and care of electrical equipment

Ø  Keep current on new technology and equipment and evaluate applicability for use in the plant

Ø  Consult with contractors, maintenance and outside service groups on capital and maintenance projects

Ø  Develop, implement, and evaluate preventive maintenance programs

Ø  Ensure applicable preventative maintenance programs are functioning and are executed as designed

Ø  Ensure compliance of electrical maintenance systems and electrical components with corporate standards

Ø  Establish testing and calibration procedures for electrical equipment, as necessary

Ø  Recommend, establish, and update spare parts requirements for existing or new equipment

Ø  Prepare equipment specifications and purchase requests

Ø  Develop inspection, testing, outage, and repair scopes throughout the plant

Ø  Lead in troubleshooting issues with major equipment or repetitive issues

Ø  Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and operating permits.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMNTS

v  BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.

v  5 years previous Electrical Engineering Experience in a Power Generation or Manufacturing Environment required, 10 or more years preferred.

v  High proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook)

v  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

v  Ability to read, write and speak in English

v  Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team and to develop team members

v  Ability to make technically and economically sound recommendations with incomplete information and in the time required

v  Strong analytical/problem solving/trouble shooting skills
