Junior to Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate
Tampa, Florida

 

AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a junior to mid-level associate with at least 2 years of business litigation experience to join the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group in its Tampa office.

 

 

Requirements:
  • Substantial experience in complex business litigation within both state and federal courts.
  • Key responsibilities include conducting and managing written and document discovery, researching and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings, as well as conducting and defending depositions.
  • Experience in preparing witnesses for testimony, appearing for status conferences, and arguing motions is essential.
  • Participation in mediation, settlement conferences, negotiations, and experience with arbitration or trial preparation is preferred.
  • Well-rounded, dynamic, and highly motivated attorney who excels in a sophisticated and collegial environment and is committed to advancing the long-term strategic goals of the Litigation Department.
  • AmLaw 100 experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • J.D. from an ABA-approved law school 
  • Must be in good standing with an active membership in the Florida Bar.

Pursuant to the California Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, the expected salary range for this Tampa-based position is between $240,000 and $310,000 annually. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
