Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to improve internal quality systems while maintaining external quality system certifications. In this role, you will also validate supplier performance, product quality and customer quality requirements reporting directly to the General Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain external quality system certifications.
• Improve internal product and process quality systems and procedures.
• Update and maintain customer documentation.
• Validate and audit supplier performance.
• Train team production members in all aspects of quality management including systems, measurement, testing, and inspection.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, or manufacturing engineering required.
• Experience:
• Ideally 5 or more years of progressive quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• “Hands-on” experience working with production team members.
• Ability to work with customers and suppliers.
• Energetic personality with a take charge attitude.
