SECURITIES LITIGATION AND ENFORCEMENT ASSOCIATE

Location: New York, NY or Washington, DC


Our client, a national AmLaw 200 law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Associate with 2-5 years of experience in securities litigation and enforcement to join their team in either New York or Washington, DC.

Experience with SEC enforcement, securities litigation, corporate governance, securities-related class action suits, and/or FINRA matters is preferred.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from an accredited, top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Active bar license in New York or Washington, DC.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in securities litigation and enforcement.
  • Experience with SEC enforcement, securities-related class actions, corporate governance, and FINRA matters is a plus.
  • Strong litigation, critical thinking, communication, research, e-discovery, and writing skills are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a high-energy environment.
  • A commitment to high standards of client service, creativity, and professional drive.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage securities litigation and enforcement cases, including drafting and reviewing legal documents and preparing for trial.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel on SEC enforcement actions, securities litigation, and related matters.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective case strategies and ensure exceptional client service.
