Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic who is looking to join a full-time team in Hamilton! As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery. Responsibilities:

- Interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine work procedures
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
- Inspect and examine machinery, identifying irregularities and malfunctions
- Adjust and repair machinery, replacing defective parts as needed
- Operate machine tools to fabricate parts for machinery overhaul and maintenance
- Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install processing equipment
- Optimize equipment for safety, efficiency, and reliability
- Comply with food safety, health and safety, and environmental procedures
- Service, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on production and bakery equipment
- Improve equipment function through design improvements
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area

Qualifications:

- Industrial Millwright 433A license
- 4-5 years of industrial mechanical experience
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the food industry or high-speed manufacturing environment
- Valid driver's license
