The tax team focuses on a broad range of transactional tax matters, including:

• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Both domestic and cross-border.
• Investment Partnerships: Advising on fund formation, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Renewable Energy Projects: Tax structuring and federal tax credits/incentives.
• Transactional Tax Planning: Tailoring structures to meet business and financial goals.
• Special Tax Counsel: Providing expertise to law firms, accounting firms, and investment banks.

Responsibilities:

• Advise onM&A, debt, financing transactions, and portfolio investments.
• Design and implementtax-efficient structuresfor joint ventures and corporate transactions.
• Providestate tax planningadvice.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• JDfrom an ABA-accredited law school (LLM in Taxationpreferred).
• Admittedor eligible for admission in New York.
• Minimum4 yearsof transactional tax experience in a major law firm practice, focusing on corporate and partnership taxation.
• Experience inenergy, real estate, andinternational taxationpreferred.
• Strongwritten and verbal communicationskills.
• Ability toprioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities.
