Position Overview:
We are looking for a Lead Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programmer with a strong machining background. You write and optimize new CNC programs in addition to designing custom fixtures and tools. You will also supervise a team of CNC programmers. On an ongoing basis, you will troubleshoot production issues and contribute to process improvements in the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize CNC programs for complex parts in MasterCam.
- Design fixtures, gages, and cutting tools.
- Manage document control for tooling and programs.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to tooling and fixtures.
- Write and optimize CNC programs for complex parts.
- Lead the setup and compliance for tooling and machining processes.
- Monitor production quality and make machine adjustments as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- 5 or more years of CNC programming and setup experience.
- Supervisor experience is required.
- Proficiency in Mastercam and AutoDesk Inventor software programs.
- Strong understanding of G and M codes and blueprint reading.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- Experience with Brother VMCs is a plus.
