Associate Scientist, Protein Sciences

Key Responsibilities:

1. Express recombinant proteins using bacterial, mammalian, and insect systems.
2. Purify proteins using chromatographic techniques including affinity, ion exchange, and size exclusion.
3. Perform biochemical and biophysical assays including SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, ELISA, and UV/Vis.
4. Analyze experimental data and present findings to the team.

Essential Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in Protein Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or similar.

Preferred Experience:

• 2-10+ years academic or industry experience.
• Proficiency in protein expression systems including E. coli or HEK293.
• Experience with chromatographic purification techniques and equipment.
• Familiarity with protein characterization methods including mass spec.
• Exposure to SPR, BLI, ELISA and other methods for characterization of protein-protein interaction.
• Solid foundational skills in construct design and molecular biology.
