Job Duty Summary:
The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide care to a wide range of patients in a 14,000-volume ER. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, management of acute conditions, and performing procedures such as intubations, chest tubes, and critical care.
Team Size: 24-hour physician coverage with 12 hours of mid-level support during peak hours.

Full-time, 12-hour shifts (day/night/weekend/holiday rotations).

Pay Summary:
Salary Range:
W2 Employee (Living in the Community): $250/hr + $10/hr quality bonus (annualized earnings of $540,800 for 2080 hours/year with bonus).
1099 Independent Contractor (Living in the Community): $275/hr + $10/hr quality bonus.
1099 Independent Contractor (Travel): $285/hr.
Bonuses:
$50,000 sign-on bonus (forgivable loan over 3 years).

Qualifications:

Qualifications (Minimum and Preferred):
Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of emergency medicine experience with extensive trauma exposure.
Specialized Experience: FM/IM candidates with ED experience, including trauma logs, accepted; ABEM preferred.
Prior Duties: Emergency care, including management of trauma and acute care cases.
Education: Board-certified/board-eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine.
Licenses: Eligible for a North Dakota Medical License.
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required.
Personality Factors: Team-oriented, skilled communicator, and confident in high-stress situations.
Systems Used: Meditech EHR.
Ideal Candidate Features: Comfortable with all ages, procedures, and trauma cases.
