A leading, highly regarded law firm is seeking talented and motivated Transactions Associates with 2-8 years of relevant corporate experience to join their dynamic Transactions Practice Group in New York, Silicon Valley, San Francisco, or Dallas. Key Responsibilities:
  • Representing a diverse range of clients, including publicly and privately held companies, private equity funds, venture capital investors, entrepreneurs, and emerging growth companies.
  • Handling venture capital and early-stage financings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, dispositions, and other sophisticated commercial transactions.
  • Providing strategic general corporate counseling to clients across various industries, helping them navigate complex legal challenges.
  • Managing all phases of transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transactional documents and leading due diligence efforts.
  • Collaborating with partners, team members, and clients to deliver high-quality legal solutions.
Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is an exceptional corporate lawyer with a track record of delivering results in high-stakes, high-impact transactions. Required qualifications include:

  • 2-8 years of experience working in a corporate practice, focusing on emerging companies, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, or general corporate matters.
  • Strong skills in document drafting, transactional project management, and negotiation.
  • A client-centric approach with the ability to establish and maintain direct relationships with clients and partners.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and positive attitude.
  • A JD from an ABA-accredited law school and good standing with a state Bar. Admission to the Bar of the office location or eligibility for timely admission is required.
