Manufacturing Engineer - West TN
A leading manufacturer of precision drive solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support automated manufacturing systems in the production of cutting-edge products. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative environment to design, build, program, and support systems that serve multiple industries and deliver to customers worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Select techniques to solve problems and make sound process and programming recommendations
- Support existing production products and technical assignments
- Create and maintain required controlled documents and standards for current processes
- Deploy and integrate automation improvements
- Participate in error-proofing concepts and basic production processes
- Manage projects and maintain process control documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent four-year college degree
- Alternatively, technical school diploma plus 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and robotic systems
- Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and fluid systems
- Experience with production processes, presses, and fasteners
- Entry-level knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Controls Engineer
- 8 years of relevant experience and training
