BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Our client, a highly-regarded AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented Business Transactions Associate Attorney to join their dynamic practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled corporate attorney to work on sophisticated transactions across multiple industries, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. The position is open to candidates in located in Tampa.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
- 3–6 years of substantive experience handling complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Exposure to securities offerings, corporate finance transactions, and joint ventures is a plus.
- Accounting or tax experience, or an LL.M. in Taxation is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, and securities offerings.
- Draft and negotiate transactional agreements, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and joint venture documents.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on business structuring, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax and regulatory attorneys, to execute high-value transactions.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide proactive legal solutions tailored to business objectives.
