KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze manufacturing processes to reduce cost, streamline workflows, make improvements and develop best practices
• Apply knowledge of product design, assembly, fabrication, tooling and materials to evaluate manufacturing processes.
• Create and optimize machining processes utilizing CAD/CAM software
• Design testing methods to test processing capabilities and product ensuring quality of finished product.
• Calculate production, labor and material costs, consider production schedules and estimate future needs.
• Collect, analyze and summarize data and trends; prepare reports
• Maintain and schedule maintenance of equipment
• Keep abreast of technical knowledge and trends through educational workshops, publications, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of assembly and machining in a heavy industrial environment
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Strong understanding of GD&T tolerancing and function.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Confident and effective communicator
