Position Overview: In partnership with a reputable client, we are seeking a Commercial Construction Sales Representative with a significant documentable track record of success in the metro NYC commercial construction market.

  • Competitive Compensation: A guaranteed base salary plus commission, with total earnings ranging from $90,000 to $280,000 per year.

Key Skills and Responsibilities: 

Sales Expertise: 

  • Strong understanding of the sales process and proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. 

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. 

Industry Knowledge: 

  • Familiarity with the commercial construction market, including industry trends, competitors, and best practices. 

  • Understanding of construction-related products. 

Relationship Building: 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships. 

  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and property managers. 

Negotiation Skills: 

  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills to secure deals and contracts.

Market Research:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. 

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage project timelines and budgets. 

Technical Proficiency: 

  • Proficiency in using CRM software to manage client relationships and track sales activities. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. 

Problem-Solving: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and challenges. 

  • Ability to develop creative solutions to meet client requirements. 

Adaptability:

Minimum Education: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Higher education in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance is a plus. 

Experience & Requirements: 

  • A proven track record in sales within the commercial construction markets. 

  • A quick learner with a passion for sales and delivering compelling presentations. 

  • Strong marketing and negotiation skills.
