Industrial Engineer

Position Summary:
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain cost-effective manufacturing methods while ensuring fair, consistent operating standards. This role supports productivity, performance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on new product lines to design for cost-effective manufacturing

• Create workplace layouts using motion economy and handling principles

• Conduct time studies and analyze variances to identify improvements

• Develop and maintain labor standards; monitor and adjust as needed

• Investigate and implement the most effective manufacturing methods

• Maintain performance within budget and track cost-reduction efforts

• Analyze and measure work content for support labor functions

• Support planning and control through Management Information Systems

• Promote labor morale through fair, equitable standards

• Ensure lowest-cost methods of production without sacrificing quality

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)

• 1–3 years of industrial engineering experience

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Effective verbal and written communication

• Collaborative team player with an eye for process improvement
