Job description:

The ideal candidate will be a mid-level associate with four or more years of experience in employment and labor law, particularly in defending employment cases. This role involves substantial responsibility in case management, client engagement, and contributing to the firm's employment law practice.

• Defending employment cases, with preference for experience in class and collective wage and hour actions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Managing written discovery processes
• Drafting and arguing motions
• Handling overall case management
• Reviewing and drafting workplace policies, practices, and handbooks for employers with nationwide and international operations
• Managing client engagements with a high degree of responsibility

Qualifications:

• JD degree from a reputable and top law school, with preferably some achievement or distinctions.
• Active bar admission in Missouri
• Ability to commute to the office in Saint Louis, MO regularly
• Four+ (4) years of experience in Employment & Labor law
• Experience litigating cases in labor & employment matter on behalf of the employer or corporation
• Experience in drafting, reviewing and analyzing workplace bylaws, handbooks and other governing documents
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Superior analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
