Must have at least (4) years of plant level safety and environmental experience - required work background in a heavy manufacturing setting such as a steel foundry, metal forming or automotive production. Main emphasis will be on safety and health and Bachelor of Science degree required in a technical or science related field.

 

Position will lead all safety for a mid-size plant and reports to the General Manager at the facility.  Keys are having the ability to drive behavioral safety initiatives, coaching employees to continue growing their safety culture and training them to be accountable for safety.  General environmental compliance required such as waste handling and water (no permitting experience needed).
