Ashton North is partnering with a Global Manufacturing Client in the search for a Lead Electronics Engineer to join their advanced product engineering team in Greenwood, MS. About the Role
As the Lead Electronics Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the electronic controls and subsystems that power next-generation appliances. From early-stage concept through full production, you will drive the development process, ensure robust system integration, and deliver top-tier performance and reliability.

What You'll Do

Lead design and development of electronic controls and subsystems across multiple product platforms

Translate high-level product requirements and industrial design inputs into detailed electronic specifications

Manage supplier relationships and oversee component and system validation efforts

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and launch innovative product features

Create and execute software/hardware test plans and ensure compliance with domestic and international standards

Support manufacturing with test equipment specifications and validation tools

Develop diagnostics and service documentation to aid post-launch support

Contribute to cost-reduction, quality improvement, and technology exploration initiatives
What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required

5+ years of experience in electronic controls development, ideally in consumer products or appliance manufacturing

Demonstrated success managing full product lifecycle projects

Strong technical foundation in electronics, software integration, and control algorithms

Effective communicator and problem-solver who enjoys cross-functional collaboration
- Programming and embedded systems knowledge
