Job description:

We are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to lead safety initiatives. This role requires a hands-on, proactive leader to ensure compliance, drive safety culture, and manage risk.

Location: North York, ON

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Health & Safety Coordinator and foster a safety-first culture.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA, WSIB, CSA, and MOL regulations.
• Lead audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain safety programs and policies.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training and engage with employees on-site.
• Monitor key safety metrics and report to management.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or multi-site operations.
• Certifications in WHMIS, First Aid, CPR required. CRSP or CHSC is an asset.
• Strong communicator, organized, and able to work independently.
• Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.
