Job description:

Sr. Electrical Engineer - Building Construction Industry

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex electrical design projects and provide technical expertise to our clients team. You'll review and stamp electrical projects of varying complexities, direct design strategies for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems, and offer technical leadership within the team. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior engineers, troubleshoot construction issues, and communicate with clients and contractors.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of electrical design experience in the building construction industry, with at least 5 years of experience in Canada
- Engineering license in Ontario (P.Eng.)
- Proven experience with complex fire alarm and electrical systems in multi-unit residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors
- Strong code knowledge, including OBC, OESC, CSA, and other relevant codes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
