Job Description
- Independently manage litigation matters across all stages: case evaluation, intake, discovery, negotiation, trial, and appeal
- Represent clients in district and county courts as well as administrative hearings
- Handle insurance defense litigation, fiduciary and contract disputes, FHAA complaints, covenant enforcement, and real estate litigation
- Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and legal briefs
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
- Communicate with clients to provide updates and strategic advice
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff
- Participate in business development and firm networking initiatives
Qualifications
- Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado
- Must have 5+ years of insurance defense experience
- Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills
- Strong organizational and case management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case/document management software
- Knowledge of PracticeMaster and NetDocuments a plus
- Portable book of business is a bonus but not required
