Job description:

• Be a rainmaker to bring in new business/cases (marketing and networking to obtain your new clients)
• Meet with clients, communicate with adversaries, negotiate, and draft various types of business contracts
• Provide partners with support for their matters, operating in a team environment
• Review and negotiate various types of business agreements, commercial real estate leases, and financing documents and conduct closings

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) Degree plus admission to the NY State bar
• Minimum 5 years experience in Corporate and Commercial Real Estate matters. Experience with employment law and commercial litigation is a plus
• Excellent writing, organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills, plus outstanding client communication and management skills
• Eager to be involved in business development with an entrepreneurial spirit
• A portable business and a business background are preferred
