Overview:
A growing manufacturer is looking for a Health & Safety Engineer to strengthen workplace safety programs across several sites in North America. This position focuses on advancing compliance, improving safety processes, and supporting a strong safety culture in a complex production environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead risk reviews for new equipment, processes, and workplace changes.

• Coordinate external and internal safety audits, including ISO 45001, and ensure corrective actions are closed.

• Carry out exposure monitoring and ergonomic assessments related to noise, air quality, chemical use, and PPE.

• Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs.

• Perform site walk-throughs and compliance evaluations, documenting findings and improvements.

• Oversee and enhance the company’s digital safety management tools.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, or a related discipline (relevant certifications also valued).

• At least 5 years of health & safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Hands-on experience with ISO 45001 audits (minimum 3 years).

• Familiarity with OSHA standards, process safety methods, and chemical/pressure systems.

• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

• Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed.
