Job Description

As a member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (RA ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (aka C2BMC NT), this position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across multiple development sites

Must have an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance

Required Education/Experience:       

  • Bachelors degree (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science) and 5+ years of experience or significant professional experience in a related field may be considered in lieu of a technical degree. Masters degree highly desired and 3+ years of experience.
  • In addition to CI/CD engineering responsibilities, this position will also perform Scrum Master duties and Agile coaching for a Cross Functional Team of 6-10 people. The ideal candidate will assist the teams on Agile process and practices, and coordinate with them and the Product Owner.

Required Skills:

  • Basic Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD tools. Experience with repository management tools. Experience with Scrum Master principles. IAT II (Security+ or equivalent) certification is required within 60 days of starting the position. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Linux. Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles and their application to IT and IT products. Experience with Source Code Management. Scrum Master experience with knowledge of Agile methodologies. Understanding of Systems Engineering, SW Development and Verification cycles would be beneficial. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and poise, with occasional travel between development facilities. Willingness to work independently or in group setting in a dynamic environment. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience working with multiple disciplinary teams, including Systems Administrators, IT, and Security. Experience with MS Office products and Agile development tools. Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working as scrum master as part of the Scrum team (preferably a SW Development scrum team). 
  • Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA, Agility (Version One) or other Agile management tools.
  • Experience in decomposing (or assisting in decomposing) Agile features to user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Agile Coaching experience would be a highly desired skill
  • Preferred: Agile Certification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM). 
    Agile Coaching experience would be a highly desired skill
