Compensation: $28.00–$38.00/hour (based on experience level)
Relocation: Up to 90-day housing stipend available for relocating candidates

What You’ll Do:

Read and interpret cut lists, fabrication drawings, and specifications

Perform layout, positioning, and assembly of steel beams, columns, stairs, and misc. metals

Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hand tools

Execute precision fit-ups and ensure alignment prior to welding

Inspect work and perform minor adjustments for quality compliance

Contribute to production goals and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications (Level-Based):
Fitter 1:
-
1+ year of fabrication experience

Able to read basic blueprints, cut lists, and use measuring tools

Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
Fitter 2:
-
5+ years of industry experience
-
Proficient with layout and fit-up of beams, columns, and misc. metals

Skilled in reading technical drawings and mentoring entry-level fitters
Fitter 3:
-
7+ years of fabrication experience

Skilled in complex components (e.g., curved rails, stairs, canopies)

Ability to conceptualize fixtures and lead a small team

Strong trigonometry and advanced blueprint interpretation
