As a Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting the nursing staff on a busy Endoscopy Unit. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the unit. This includes supervising staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing budgets, working collaboratively with leadership and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Must have Registered Nurse license in PA with BSN, MSN preferred
- SGNA preferred
- Minimum of 2 years in a prior leadership role
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Endoscopy experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practice
- Working in PASNAP organization preferred
Unit Operations
- Manage the daily operations of high acuity patients in both an outpatient and inpatient Endoscopy Unit at a level 1 Trauma Center
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the unit, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Work closely with leadership and physicians to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient care centered care in accordance with the established standards and protocols.
