Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join a clinical imaging team in a full-time capacity. This role provides an opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care, contribute to imaging excellence, and support diagnostic services in a hospital or imaging center environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform mammography examinations on patients in compliance with radiation safety standards.

Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, position patients, select appropriate imaging techniques, and ensure technical quality of images.

Enter and maintain patient data accurately in imaging systems.

Perform routine quality assurance and maintenance on mammography equipment; assist with accreditation preparation and renewal as required.

Identify and report any accidents, patient complaints, or equipment malfunctions to management.

Respond to emergency calls within the imaging department as needed.

Ensure safe care for patients, staff, and visitors; follow all organizational policies, procedures, and standards, including time, supply, productivity, and service quality management.

Support department and organizational goals through continuing education, skills competency, mentoring, and precepting less experienced staff.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of Mammography Technology or Radiologic Technology.

Minimum 4 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.

Current license or temporary license as required by the relevant state medical board (MRT or equivalent).

Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) certification.

Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M) certification.

Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ACLS).
Preferred Skills / Experience:

Experience with scheduling or workflow coordination in an imaging setting.

Experience with quality reviews and preparation for accreditation or compliance audits.

Ability to assist or lift patients safely when needed.
