A top-10 AmLaw firm is seeking an Employment Transactions Attorney to join its Corporate/Private Equity Practice in Atlanta as part of a Professional Track Attorney program. This is a high-impact opportunity for a motivated litigator to manage sophisticated matters and provide strategic counsel in a dynamic, fast-paced practice.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing
- 2–4 years of substantive labor & employment law experience
- Experience handling company-side employment matters, including research, counseling, and contract drafting
- Demonstrated interest in employment-related components of corporate transactions, including M&A diligence
- Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to organize complex information efficiently
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
- Professionalism, responsiveness, and sound judgment in client-facing interactions
Key Responsibilities
- Lead employment-related diligence for M&A and private equity transactions
- Analyze employment, benefits, and workforce issues arising during transactional reviews
- Draft and review employment-related contracts and provisions, including restrictive covenants and offer materials
- Conduct legal research and prepare clear, well-reasoned memoranda for partners and clients
- Address day-to-day employment counseling questions for corporate clients
- Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and professional track attorneys across practice areas
- Support client initiatives through timely, accurate, and strategic work product
- Assist with pro bono matters and contribute to the firm’s broader community-engagement efforts

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $150,000 – $300,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
