Teaching and Student Engagement

Clinical and Experiential Learning Oversight
This role plans, coordinates, and supervises clinical learning experiences, ensuring they align with academic standards and student learning needs. The instructor evaluates student performance against established learning outcomes and provides immediate, constructive feedback following observations.
Responsibilities also include determining appropriate methods for observation and assessment, verifying that clinical environments meet safety and compliance standards, and ensuring assignments balance both student learning objectives and site requirements.
Academic Administration and Compliance
The instructor maintains accurate academic records, including attendance, evaluations, grades, and skills documentation, in accordance with institutional policies and privacy regulations. Timely submission of grades, reports, and required documentation is essential.
Additional duties include collaborating with instructional colleagues on assessments and evaluations, supporting curriculum planning and instructional quality initiatives, and contributing to data collection and reporting related to program outcomes.
Faculty Collaboration and Development
Participation in faculty meetings, committees, orientation activities, and professional development initiatives is required. The instructor works collaboratively with academic leadership and peers to support program effectiveness and continuous improvement.
Ongoing professional growth is expected, including maintaining required licensure, certifications, and continuing education, as well as staying current with instructional technology, safety standards, and best practices in nursing education.
Required Qualifications

Active, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse

Graduate-level nursing degree

Eligibility to meet faculty standards established by applicable nursing regulatory bodies
