Job description:
A growing residential and light commercial HVAC service provider in Norwalk is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join its high-performing field team. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in their craft, values customer experience, and wants to be rewarded for performance rather than capped by it.
Youll be trusted with diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining HVAC systems while delivering a consistently professional, customer-first experience. This position reports directly to senior operational leadership and plays a key role in the companys reputation for quality and reliability.
What Youll Be Doing
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform seasonal tune-ups, inspections, and equipment replacements
- Clearly explain system issues, solutions, and pricing to customers before work begins
- Accurately document all work using field-service software
- Follow all safety standards and operational procedures
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean and working condition
- Support installation teams or fellow technicians when required
- Participate in ongoing technical and professional training
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, workmanship, and customer care
Qualifications:
What Were Looking For
- Valid Connecticut S1, S2, S3, or S4 HVAC License
- EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in HVAC service, maintenance, or installation
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a clean, professional appearance
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field-service software is an advantage
