Youll take the lead on meaningful, complex civil engineering work across a wide range of land development projects, including:
- Applying standard civil engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria
- Performing and managing computations, reports, permit applications, and CAD drawings
- Designing site plans, grading, utilities, erosion and sediment control systems
- Stormwater management design and analysis (including SWPPP compliance)
- Roadway, parking, and infrastructure design
- Minor water and wastewater system design
- Preparing proposals for professional services
- Managing projects from concept through completion
- Client engagement and relationship management
- Mentoring and supporting junior staff
- Contributing to technical strategy and presenting at meetings and public forums
Your work will help shape communities through:
- Town and planning board consultations
- Land use and zoning compliance reviews
- Site analysis and development planning
- Commercial and office park design
- Stormwater pollution prevention planning
- Sanitary systems design, testing, and permitting
- Roads, bridges, and transportation-related infrastructure
- Water, wastewater, and stormwater system design
Qualifications:
What You Bring- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (ABET/EAC accredited)
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience in land development within a consulting environment
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple deadlines
- Leadership mindset with ambition to grow into a senior decision-making role
