Job description:

This person will drive financial reporting and accounting systems design and implementation to support future acquisitions as the organization continues to rapidly expand their product and service offerings. Will partner with senior leaders to provide financial and accounting analysis and extract business insights to guide strategy, identify opportunities, and drive innovation. Will collaborate with senior leadership to select and implement AI tools to streamline accounting processes, maximize financial operations capacity, and accelerate learning to support organic and M&A growth. Can work remotely while being available to be in the office as needed, on average one day per week. Will Utilize QuickBooks Online with automated features to streamline bookkeeping processes. This role relies heavily on QuickBooks for financial management and reporting. Will partner to transition from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online without disrupting the current financial operations. Will integrate AI based tools to accelerate analytic review. Will be reporting directly to our Manager of Finance and Accounting. Other duties: 5-days to close financial reporting with variance analyses and calls-to-action; streamlined, cross-functional created, processes to enhance financial controls; weekly performance metrics; compliance with all accounting regulations, taxes, and standards. Will partner with Leadership, as well as collaborate cross-functionally, to design and implement system and process changes to enhance business performance, financial reporting controls, and tax compliance. Will reconcile GL accounts, bank statements, and financial data to maintain precision. Will accurately and timely execute all payroll related functions including overseeing and managing the complete payroll and benefits administration system, performing payroll entries to QuickBooks with file feeds from PTA software, administering bi-weekly payroll, validating data accuracy and correct discrepancies and ensuring 100% compliance with tax regulations. Will manage accruals and adjustments efficiently and in a timely manner, demonstrate expertise in streamlining automated accounts receivable/payable processes via QuickBooks, Administer sales taxes, including budget tracking, financial reporting, and timely invoicing. Validate data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures. Will identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance company profitability and/or customer satisfaction. Will Simplify processes and implement new software tools to maximize efficiency. Will collaborate and interact with employees, clients and vendors.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, be adept at utilizing automated bookkeeping tools, and have excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate financial record-keeping. Proven experience in accurate, efficient, and compliant vendor and customer onboarding and maintenance. A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is a must! Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop and QuickBooks online is required. At least four years of hands on experience in accounting roles, preferably in rapidly growing manufacturing environments. Must have excellent written and verbal skills to handle complex accounting data and support informed decisions.

Bilingual is a plus (Spanish/English).
