Company & Opportunity Background:

 

Our client is a specialty supplier of engineered industrial products that serve as critical components of machinery used in various industrial applications including in process and bulk material handling industries.

 

 

Wanting to invest behind its recent growth and build the foundation for continued growth, looking to add a Continuous Improvement Leader.  The Continuous Improvement Leader will work closely with company leadership to design and implement improvements to internal operating systems across various functions including sales, marketing, and logistics/supply-chain. Longer-term, after building familiarity/knowledge of company products, the new hire will have opportunities to contribute in various aspects of the business, working with management to identify intersections of business need and the new hire’s skillset/interests.  These areas may include, but are not limited to, various sales, marketing, business development, and operational/technology-related functions.  

 

Role & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with company leadership to design and implement improvements to various internal processes including sales, marketing, and logistics/supply-chain, thoughtfully leveraging technology and automation to drive efficiencies

Longer-term, after building familiarity/knowledge of companies products and internal operations, the new hire will have opportunities to contribute in various aspects of the business, working with management to identify intersections of business need and the new hire’s skillset/interests

 

Candidate Experience, Skills, and Attributes:

Well-rounded business background with 5-10 years cross functional experience in areas such as revenue operations, strategy, marketing, sales, and business development

Entrepreneurial attitude, strategic vision, team-focused mindset, quick learner, strong attention to detail, and strong professional maturity/judgement

Adept at learning new systems and using technology appropriately to streamline processes and solve problems

Demonstrated interest in­ living in Charleston, SC for the medium-to-long term
