Working with a well established consumer products manufacturer that is building a new plant in Defiance OH and looking for a Site Director. This person will be the top person in the plant overseeing all manufacturing operations except sales, HR, accounting/finance, and quality. The plant is scheduled to be operational in June/July 2027 and the person must be willing to travel 1-2 weeks per month for the first few months to their plant in Anderson SC to get up to speed.

 

Need someone with a strong plant management background either out of consumer products or high speed continuous operation. Someone who has managed a large operation or multi site operation with Greenfield experience. Must have greenfiled experience to be considered. Strong, hands on leader who knows how to coach, mentor, and develop people is essential. Someone with a proven track record of driving change when needed or turning things around. Continuous improvement, project management, lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma (data analytics).

 

Must eventually be willing to move to the Defiance OH area.
