Urologist Opportunity in Dothan, AL-competitive pay and benefits

Provide clinical and administrative leadership for urology services within the clinic and hospital setting
Perform a full spectrum of general urologic procedures, including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open cases
Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient urologic care
Participate in call coverage and emergency urologic services
Collaborate with clinic administration on:
- Scope of services
- Equipment planning (cystoscopy, robotics if applicable, imaging, etc.)
- Workflow optimization and clinic efficiency
- Standardization of clinical protocols and care pathways
Lead a multidisciplinary approach to patient care with primary care, oncology, nephrology, and surgical teams
Establish and monitor quality and outcome metrics to ensure high standards of care
Identify and address clinical and operational issues affecting the medical staff
Maintain strong referral relationships with community physicians and regional providers
Support development and expansion of the urology service line
Participate in strategic planning, including growth and outreach initiatives
Contribute to financial and operational oversight, including:
- Resource utilization
- Program performance
- Efficiency improvements
Engage in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Assist in development, review, and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Participate in committee and leadership activities within the organization
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory and credentialing requirements
