Lead the month-end close and review accounting transactions and monthly reports.
Oversee monthly reporting and the preparation, review, and submission of consolidation reporting packages to the parent company in Japan.
Manage manufacturing costing, analyze cost variances, and control fixed costs.
Prepare and review tax returns.
Assign work, monitor progress, and develop accounting team members.
Use Microsoft Dynamics AX for day-to-day accounting and support the planned migration to Dynamics 365 (D365)
Qualifications:
Age 48-52 years old (Best age is50)
Experience as an Accounting Manager at a Japanese manufacturing company, including direct responsibility for managing an accounting team.
Experience 10 years in Management level
Experience with consolidation reporting packages and monthly reporting to a parent company in Japan.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365. Candidates with AX experience may be considered if they can demonstrate their ability to adapt to D365.
Practical experience in month-end closing, accounting transaction review, manufacturing costing, and fixed cost control.
Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns.
English proficiency for day-to-day business communication, presentations, and work discussions. Japanese language skills are optional.
