Seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic habilitation services for our individuals.
Experience with adults with developmental delays and intellectual disabilities required
Dementia and some geriatric experience a plus 
Experience working in an in-patient and residential setting 

Licensure and required certification:  Current Licensure in Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.

All applicants must pass: pre-employment drug screen, fingerprint criminal background check, and Client Abuse/Neglect Reporting System (CANRS), Employee Misconduct Registry and Nurse/Aide Registry checks.  

Candidate will be required to attend facility training and orientation 

Minimal productivity expectations in a relaxed, slower paced therapy setting where patient directed services is the priority. Great employee atmosphere where staff enjoy one-hour breaks to take lunch. Plenty of time for documentation and care coordination with interdisciplinary teammates. 

Position will be a W2 role for the candidate despite contractor status. For higher compensation, client will consider 1099 candidates. 
Full-timer W2 employees entitled to health benefits (medical, dental, vision, STD, Life, 401K) and 10 days PTO unless opting for 1099

M-F schedule is needed with flexible hours, 8 hour workdays. 
Minimal travel involved.
