Key Responsibilities

🔹 Setup & Operation

• Set up and perform program editing on CNC milling machines for various machining operations.
• Make necessary adjustments to offsets and replace worn or broken tooling to maintain part accuracy.
• Work under the general direction of the department supervisor with minimal supervision.

🔹 Quality & Process Control

• Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements using tools like micrometers and calipers.
• Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and specifications, making corrections as needed.
• Maintain proper documentation on work orders and assist with program management.

🔹 Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate in team meetings, sharing insights to optimize processes.
• Train and assist other machinists on setup and machine operation.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Learn and apply basic computer skills to complete work orders and track production.

Qualifications & Skills

✔ Experience in CNC milling machine setup and operation.
✔ Proficiency in blueprint reading and using precision gauging equipment.
✔ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
