Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the development of project scope, timeline, and budget, adhering to established project management frameworks and industry best practices.
• Manage staffing and craft plans for construction, commissioning, and startup phases, lending support to operations for troubleshooting and optimization efforts.
• Engage in process engineering as necessary to fulfill project objectives.
• Lead the specification and procurement of equipment, as well as oversee the creation, review, and awarding of bid packages for labor and equipment.
• Analyze and devise solutions for engineering challenges related to manufacturing equipment and systems, including root cause analysis of component failures.
• Innovate and refine manufacturing processes, instruments, and equipment, ensuring product quality through rigorous testing.
• Demonstrate autonomy in resolving complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most challenging matters to the appropriate channels.
• Provide informal guidance, mentorship, and hands-on training to junior engineers through project collaboration.
• Fulfill any additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of four years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of eight years of experience in engineering roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Ag/Biosystems, or a related engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing large capital projects or project portfolios.
• Previous involvement in chemical, food, or related industries.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically to support capital project initiatives across other network plants and locations.
• Comfort and enthusiasm for working hands-on in a dynamic and technically demanding plant environment.
