Base Salary - $130,000-$150,000 + PAID Relocation
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development of project scope, timeline, and budget, adhering to established project management frameworks and industry best practices.
- Manage staffing and craft plans for construction, commissioning, and startup phases, lending support to operations for troubleshooting and optimization efforts.
- Engage in process engineering as necessary to fulfill project objectives.
- Lead the specification and procurement of equipment, as well as oversee the creation, review, and awarding of bid packages for labor and equipment.
- Analyze and devise solutions for engineering challenges related to manufacturing equipment and systems, including root cause analysis of component failures.
- Innovate and refine manufacturing processes, instruments, and equipment, ensuring product quality through rigorous testing.
- Demonstrate autonomy in resolving complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most challenging matters to the appropriate channels.
- Provide informal guidance, mentorship, and hands-on training to junior engineers through project collaboration.
- Fulfill any additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of four years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of eight years of experience in engineering roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Ag/Biosystems, or a related engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing large capital projects or project portfolios.
- Previous involvement in chemical, food, or related industries.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically to support capital project initiatives across other network plants and locations.
- Comfort and enthusiasm for working hands-on in a dynamic and technically demanding plant environment.
