Are you a skilled technician with a passion for CNC machines? We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team and take on the responsibility of installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CNC machines, with a focus on providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines, with a focus on Citizen and Miyano machines (experience with these machines is helpful).
• Replace ball screws, motors, and cartridge spindles as needed.
• Utilize ladder and diagnostic functions on all machine controls.
• Provide phone support for troubleshooting, which may be daily and heavy at times.
• Align and adjust tools, as well as repair spindle bearings.
• Provide time study estimates and perform machine demonstrations.
• Align and interface the bar feed unit with the machine.
• Perform first part run-off to ensure machine acceptance.
• Travel to customer sites for repair and troubleshooting as required.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in CNC machine tooling.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and automation experience.
• Proficiency in geometry and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read ladder diagrams and control diagnostics.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time within eleven western states (after training period completion).
• Professional interaction with customers by phone and in person.
• Clean driving record and own vehicle for travel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
