Impact the lifecycle management of assigned rotating equipment, ensuring reliability through consistent strategy application, developing inspection and overhaul plans, and guiding repair methods.  

Partner with the maintenance and operating teams to troubleshoot day-to-day issues and adjust maintenance plans to inspect, overhaul, and repair rotating equipment to maximize lifespan.   

Provie’s valence to the Maintenance team on repair methods based on original design and vendor instructions.  

Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and track corrective actions for resolution. 

Support equipment and area turnarounds. 

Assist in spare parts review to ensure equipment maintainability and parts availability. 

Recommend projects to enhance overall plant reliability, develop cost justifications, and participate in the initial project designs (FEED), including specification of rotating equipment.  

Use predictive technology; Conduct analysis of inspection and vibration reports to identify improvement areas, establish safe operating limits, and support for equipment troubleshooting and repairs. 

Partner with the Process Safety team participating in the PSM program to ensure Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance in line with OSHA standards; Complete MOC forms and actively participating in PHAs.  

BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. 

3+ years of experience in a high-risk industry such as refining, paper manufacturing, petrochemical, electrical power generation or chemical processing.  Note the wide range for future salary grade increases.  

Knowledge of gearboxes, compressors, pumps, mechanical seals, turbines, and motors. 

Best with knowledge API 670 (Bently Nevada) and experience using portable vibration data collection. 

Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future. 

3 years of experience qualifies you in the upper $90Ks + 15% bonus target.  I’m told by Engineers we’ve recruited that base salary is fantastic relative to other industries we can pull talent from 

15+ years’ relevant experience qualifies you closer to the top of the range + 20% bonus target
