Maintenance Director

• Foods manufacturer with 78 locations worldwide is hiring for a Maintenance Director due to promotion

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage North American team of approximately 10 maintenance and reliability professionals through hiring, talent development and performance management.
• Sets strategy in alignment with functional goals and key Maintenance, Reliability Engineering, and Engineering objectives.
• Develops key objectives for global Maintenance Excellence Program
•  Proactively mentors, advises and shares industry best practices with subordinates, peers, and senior management.
•  Develops strategy and drives technological advancements in equipment health monitoring, advanced analytics, and predictive and prescriptive maintenance.
• Accountable for all national level processes, policies, procedures and execution related to Maintenance, Utilities and Facilities, and the CMMS.
• Provides global governance for the Maintenance Excellence Program in pursuit of best-in-class Maintenance and Reliability practices.
•  Establishes analytical tools and reporting methods for network standardization

• BS/BA is required, ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Operations Management.  Masters, MBA is strongly preferred  
• 10-15+ years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing setting is required; prefer industry related experience such as: consumer products, foods, snacks, high-speed packaging, or other closely related food manufacturing environments 
• Process/project engineering experience is preferred, ideally with automation and leading capital projects with robotics 
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/ predictive maintenance, TPM, inventory and scheduling software is preferred.
• Strategic level maintenance director experience managing multiple sites
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good planning and priority setting skills.
