Project Engineer – Heavy Civil Construction (Kingman / Flagstaff, AZ Region)
We’re seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in heavy civil construction, focusing on underground utilities and earthwork projects in the Kingman–Flagstaff area.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager and field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Coordinate daily activities with superintendents and foremen, including materials, subcontractors, equipment, and quality control.

Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.

Manage scope changes, assist with scheduling, and process change orders.

Support project planning, definition, scope, resource allocation, and scheduling.

Prepare and coordinate essential plans such as traffic control, erosion control, safety, and equipment mobilization.

Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality execution.

Utilize Viewpoint for project documentation, cost tracking, and reporting.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction (earthwork, underground utilities, highways, or structures).

Proficiency in Viewpoint preferred.
- Experience with Alternative Delivery a plus.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Self-starter who works well independently in a fast-paced environment.
