We are recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer to join an established Engineering Company with a great reputation. This is a Project Engineering role where you will be supporting a broad range of projects including vertical construction, Infrastructure, and site development in commercial and industrial markets.
This position will include engineering and design responsibilities for multiple projects ranging in land development and civil site and construction design. This role will have you mentoring junior engineers in design work using 3D modeling software. Desirable Education, Experience + Skills
- BS in Civil Engineering preferred. Will also consider other relevant education and experience
- +5 years of relevant work experience in a similar Civil Engineering capacity
- Proficiency with 3D CAD design and BIM software.
- Experience and knowledge of site design including building infrastructure layout, utilities, accessibility, stormwater, lighting, landscaping, and environmental protection from conceptual planning and permitting through construction
- Experienced and knowledgeable in current industry design standards (e.g., LID) and interest and ability to identify and lead new technologies and practices
- Understanding of planning/zoning standards, industry codes, and standards (IBC, ASCE, ASTM, ANSI, etc.).
- Ability to organize and complete field assignments including site assessments, engineering investigations, and construction documentation
- Technical writing / ability to compose professional documents
