This is a Part-time (15/20 hours/week) remote role.

Our client needs an experienced Workday and Higher Education Business Analyst/Project Manager to work with the functional and technical teams to ascertain and document the requirements for the adding a population of employees (students) into the existing Workday Recruiting application. After governance approval, the BA/PM would then lead the implementation of this project.

As a business analyst, serving as a liaison between the university's functional and technical areas to assess and develop requirements for the Recruiting Module. As a project manager, will create the implementation project plan, work with internal teams to execute and complete the project ensuring consistency with university PMO strategy, commitments, and goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between functional and technical areas to assess, develop and document end user, business, and service requirements
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor all project activities ensuring all deliverables meet quality and performance objectives
  • Create and deliver project level documentation and provide scheduling coordination (i.e. status meetings and reports, working sessions and agendas, RAID logs, Project Plans etc.)
  • Maintain responsibility for performance, cost, scope, schedule, and quality
  • Maintain a high level of communication with the internal team and stakeholders
  • Perform and facilitate business analysis, quality assurance, systems testing, and user acceptance activities as required
  • Ensure that the business requirements and objectives are articulated and addressed by the designed solution
  • Other duties as assigned

 Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and relevant business process analysis and project management training and experience required
  • 8-10 years’ overall PM/BA experience effectively managing complex projects and/or services in support of business functions
  • 3+ years’ experience project managing Workday platform required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification a plus
  • Experience in a higher education environment required
