Job Summary:


The Controller will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This position requires expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial controls within a production-driven environment.

 

Controller Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Implement and monitor cost accounting practices to ensure precise tracking of production expenses, material costs, and inventory valuation.
  • Develop and maintain financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide accurate financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.
  • Prepare and present financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and strategic financial plans.
  • Manage audits, tax filings, and regulatory financial reporting.
  • Lead financial risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate potential financial risks.
   

Controller Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial production.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis.
  • Understanding of tax regulations, GAAP principles, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
