As Accounting and Finance Manager, I support the Controller in overseeing financial operations, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and facilitating compliance with regulatory standards. I play a critical role in preparing financial statements, assisting with external audits and tax filings, and developing financial models that support strategic decision-making. Key Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree and CPA preferred)
● 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including AP, AR, GL, tax, audit, budgeting, and multi-entity financial reporting under GAAP
● Proficiency with QuickBooks, Concur, and/or Carta (preferred)
● Industry-specific experience and knowledge of multi-state regulations (a plus)
● Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and budget development
Core Responsibilities
● Lead day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, treasury, and fixed assets
● Manage month-end close and general ledger maintenance
● Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow projections, and inventory costing
● Evaluate and implement internal controls, financial policies, and process improvements
● Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and accounting standards
● Collaborate with external accounting firms on tax return preparation and audit processes
● Support strategic planning through detailed financial analyses and reporting
