 Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and hands-on Technical Services Manager to join our executive leadership team. This role will be a key driver in scaling our technical capabilities, optimizing production processes, and ensuring excellence in engineering, tooling, and customer satisfaction.

 Key Responsibilities

1. Product Design & Customer Interface

·                 Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams

·                 Support new product development and provide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) input

·                 Manage technical aspects of customer onboarding, including quotes and feasibility analysis

 2. Tooling Management

·                 Oversee design, procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle management of molds and tooling

·                 Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure optimal tool performance and uptime

·                 Lead cost-reduction and cycle-time improvement initiatives through tooling innovation

3. Process Engineering

·                 Lead process development, validation, and continuous improvement for injection and structural foam molding

·                 Develop and implement standard operating procedures for consistent and efficient production

·                 Introduce new technologies and best practices for process optimization

4. Facilities Management

·                 Oversee plant engineering and facility upgrades to support growth and safety

·                 Partner with operations to ensure all utilities, equipment, and infrastructure meet production needs

·                 Lead capital investment planning and implementation for technical infrastructure

 5. General Technical Leadership

·                 Build and mentor a high-performing technical team across engineering, maintenance, and support functions

·                 Collaborate with other departments to align technical strategies with business objectives

·                 Represent the technical voice at the executive level, contributing to strategic planning and execution

 Qualifications

·                 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (Mechanical, Plastics, Industrial)

·                 10+ years of experience in plastic injection molding, preferably with knowledge of structural foam processes

·                 Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

·                 Strong project management and communication skills

·                 Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and scaling technical operations
