Key Responsibilities
  • As a Senior Transportation Project Manager, you will:
  • Lead and manage transportation design projects from concept through delivery.
  • Oversee roadway engineering, including roundabout, interchange, and active transportation design.
  • Direct and mentor engineering design teams while ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and fee proposals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with clients, public agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Develop business opportunities and cultivate relationships to expand transportation design services.
  • Navigate Caltrans processes and requirements (District 5 experience a plus).

Qualifications:

Qualifications
  • BSCE with 10+ years experience in public works transportation engineering, or 14+ years equivalent experience.
  • California Professional Civil Engineer license required.
  • 5+ years of project management experience leading transportation engineering projects.
  • Proven expertise in roadway design, traffic solutions, and multimodal transportation.
  • Strong leadership experience managing teams, contracts, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Local Central Coast experience highly desirable.
